Connor began CrossFit in 2013 when a fellow Marine mentioned it to him in a martial arts program. He completed his first CrossFit workout that day and was immediately hooked. He crossfitted on his own for a year, then decided to join a gym in New York. He realized shortly after that he had missed the biggest part of CrossFit: the community. As a martial arts instructor and implementing a fitness program for a military unit he was previously stationed with, both gave him a chance to utilize the CrossFit methodology in military and vice versa. Connor is currently a CF-L3, holds certs in Gymnastics and USAW-L1, and has a B.S. in Exercise Science.

Amanda Fojtik

Amanda has always enjoyed sports and being active her entire life. She has played a multitude of sports from middle school through college. In 2011, I she herself out of shape, bored with the globo gym routine and lacking motivation. Amanda joined a CrossFit gym and I’ve been immersed in the community ever since. She began coaching in 2016 and I genuinely love being able to encourage and motivate people every day; whether it be in the gym or in life in general. Amanda is a CF-L2 and specializes in training new members joining our CrossFit community.

Daniel found CrossFit in 2012 and hasn't look back since. He began coaching after obtaining his Level 1 certification in 2013. Daniel has also learned CrossFit's Aerobic Capacity and Movement/Mobility certifications as well as obtaining his CF-L2 in 2019. Daniel volunteered as a Paramedic for the 2017 CrossFit games Medical Team and plans to keep that tradition alive. He is very excited to work with all the Cowtown athletes and their excellent community!

Jimmy found CrossFit in 2015 and started coaching in November of 2017. He is a passionate coach who has a heart for each athlete, and strives to give them the best hour out of their day. Along with his Level 2, he also has his scaling certificate. His motto to any CrossFit beginner is "90% of it is showing up, and the other 10% will take care of itself."

Justin Dewing

Brady started his love for CrossFit in July of 2011 at just 14 years old. As soon as he was old enough to get his Level 1, he did! He received in L1 in September of 2015. Since then he has also received both CrossFit Weightlifting and CrossFit gymnastics certifications. Brady received his CFL2 in March of 2020 with coach Amanda! Brady met his wife through CrossFit, with whom he has a beautiful daughter. He also feels that CrossFit has set him up incredibly well for his current career as a firefighter.

Audrey comes from a lifelong background of athletics and was bored of the monotonous "globo-gym" routines. She's passionate about fitness and even more so of the well-being of others. Because of this, CrossFit was immediately appealing. Not just for the vanity or the health benefits, but for the community. Audrey's volunteered three years at the CrossFit Games and three Regionals. She's been coaching for six years and has her CF-L2 and Gymnastics Certifications. "Hands down Cowtown is the best gym in the area, and I absolutely love helping people smash their goals and generate new ones." Her daily mantra is, "Work hard and be kind."

Jordan English

I found CrossFit back in 2018 when I was going through a challenging time in life. I joined Cowtown and I instantly found a place where I could forget about all of life’s problems. CrossFit has done so much more than just provide me with a way to workout and relieve stress; it has changed my life in a way I never knew was possible. In 2021, I decided I wanted to be a coach because of the impact all of the coaches at Cowtown and CrossFit in general have left on my life. I can only hope I have that type of influence for someone else one day.

Kellie Wehe

Kellie Wehe has been doing CrossFit since 2014. Having done gymnastics for nine years prior to CrossFit, nothing else quite satisfied her athletic desire like the varying challenges of CrossFit. There’s no other daily fitness activity that offers the community, intensity, and excitement CrossFit does. She obtained her CF-L1 in early 2022. Kellie is enjoying working full-time from home in Texas alongside coaching while her husband is getting his doctorate at Texas Christian University in Classical Piano.

Casey Fransisco

Casey began CrossFit in 2009. the he was looking for a more challenging method of working out than just a Globo Gym. He became hooked after his first workout when he puked behind a tiny CrossFit affiliate in Tulsa, Ok.

Casey received his L1 early 2022 to start coaching at Cowtown.  For him the most rewarding aspect of coaching is the reaction people have when they perform a movement they couldn’t yesterday, or realize they are stronger than they thought. But whether he is coaching or dying in workout with the other members, the community and friendships at Cowtown are what keep me walking through the doors.

He continued coaching upon returning to his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA and received his Cf-L2 in September 2014.  He has coached athletes of all levels in Pittsburgh, Texas and overseas while living in Stuttgart, Germany. Brian also has a USAW Level 1 Coaching Certification and works as a Civil Engineer for the Army Corps of Engineers. He is passionate about helping others achieve their best both in the gym and in life.
